English how about just conversation?
Dear Tina just sent me a like on these words.
I like you to read them if you like.
Before I looe these nice words I like to share them with you
Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed
This tiny little prayer
Keeps running through my head.
God bless all my family
Wherever they may be,
Keep them warm and safe from harm
For they're so close to me.
And God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do.
Hope you don't mind me asking,
Bless my computer too.
Now I know that it's not normal
To bless a mother board,
But listen just a second
While I explain to you my Lord'.
You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds & ends
Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my FRIENDS
And you know so much about them
By the kindness that they give
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.
By faith is how I know them
Much the same as I do you
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendship grew.
Please, take an extra minute
From your duties up above
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love!
Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each and every mail box
And the person who hits Send.
AMEN!
Hello Bruny
What a lovely area to live in.
When we are in the camper on the way, we move slowly down the coast from camping place to camping place. In February on the way back home we stayed in La Fortuna. That is the nearest we have been to your lovely Orihuela.
We love the area further south from Murcia in passing Cartagena and stay in the camping Los Madrilles in Isla Plana. That coast we like too very much down to Màzzaron and even further on to Malaga.
Years ago I went every year in November to Calpe for windsurfing.
Time passes and now at the age of 80 I can only dream of that time.
Have you managed to learn some Spanish in that time?
Hasta!
Hello yoli,
we are also very happy that we discovered and learned to love this piece of earth 20 years ago. In my picture gallery I have pictures, also from Abanilla and Fortuna, where we like to go hiking. Our daughter has also moved to Spain, she lives in the mountains of Hondon de las Nieves, so very close to us. I lived for years in the USA, in New Mexico and learned the Spanish language there. However, Valencian is spoken here and it is very similar to the Catalan pronunciation, which I have a lot of trouble with. unfortunately it is no longer possible for all of us to do what we did in younger years, but the memory lives on. I can no longer climb all the steep mountains and on hot days I'm more likely to be found in the water than on the top of the mountains. We have to make the best of everything.
Hasta pronto
I wonder where folks have learned the Language English. At school it helps a little.
Let us know please if you like.
Languages are interesting unless you speak English. Then all the folks think that the whole world speaks that language. I have hardly met an English speaking person who spoke another language.
How about you?
Btw:
I write my text in the word document just top check if I have mistakes in it.
That´s a nice hotel in Cornwall. I was told it´s name was taken from a novel by Daphne du Maurier.. I remember we spent a fantastic night there. We didn´t, however. get much sleep.

I have hardly met an English speaking person who spoke another language.I'd presume that I'm an English speaking person, but I can talk in french and german as well. 😁
How about you?
GREAT NO.1 Exception I know now !
Love to increase the list.
Greetings to you.
Hi Yoli,
Thanks for the smile and for remembering me. It has been an awfully long time since you last heard from me (2020?). Life hasn't treated me too kindly since then, i.e. my time was taken up to the brim by other affairs.
For about 3 yrs. my husband had needed increasingly more care since his health had rapidly deteriorated, which meant hardly any time left to attend to all the matters called "every day life". Therefore, all sorts of things have piled up to the extent that I now have a to-do-list 6 pages DIN-A4 long. So I'm busy until far into the night, trying to delete certain items while at the same time attending to new problems arriving day to day.
I am nevertheless hoping to be able to return to the English conversation again "one of these days" .... whenever that may be 😉.
All the very best to you - and keep up the good work in the meantime 😃.
Kind regards
Tina
Dear Tina
I feel for you. Enough to tend to one’s own problems! To know that you have to tend to your husbands as well is really enough. Amazing! One finds strength where one thought there was none left. I send you lots of good thoughts and look forward to hear from you again.
Big embrace
Yoli
Thank you, Joli. My husband died in August 2022, which has left me (immobile because of a bad leg, strongly impaired vision and all sorts of health problems) in rather a precarious situation, but up to now I manage somehow. Thank goodness, at least my head is still functioning 😉.
Hugs Tina
